Nero Sublime is studded with Modica chocolate chips and is covered with a lavish coating of chocolate and pureed fragoline (tiny wild strawberries).


It comes with a jar of pure Modica chocolate cream to spread onto the cake and is presented in an attractive gift box.


Modica chocolate gets its name from the town of Modica in Sicily where the Spanish first brought over the ancient recipe for chocolate originating from the Aztecs. The cocoa beans are ground on stone which releases the cocoa butter and leaves a grainy texture to the chocolate. The chocolate is pure, aromatic and full of flavour.

  • Ingredients

    Soft wheat flour, butter, Sicilian chocolate (10%) (cocoa mass, sugar cane. Cocoa solids: 50% Minimum), Sugar, chocolate of couverture (10%) (cocoa paste, cocoa butter, emulsifier: sunflower lecithin, natural vanilla flavouring. Cocoa solids: 60% minimum), fresh eggs, wild strawberry extra jam (9%) (wild strawberry (fruit used: 110g per 100g), sugar, lemon juice), fresh egg yolk, natural yeast (wheat flour, water, yeast), strawberry granulate (3%) (fruit ( strawberry puree, apple puree, cherry juice), sugar, fructose syrup, rice meal, gelliing agent: pectin, cacao butter, acidity regulator: citric acid, natural flavouring), wild strawberry puree (2%) (wild strawberry fruit (70%), sugar, glucoose syrup, acid, concentrated lemon juice aromas), Sicilian honey, invert sugar syrup, emulsifier: mono-and diglycerides of fatty acids, cocoa butter, skimmed milk powder, salt, natural vanilla flavouring.

    May contain traces of nuts, soy and lupin. Store in a cool, dry place.

    Sicilian chocolate spread – ingredients: cane sugar, hazelnuts (Corylus avellane), sunflower oil, Sicilian chocolate (13%) (cocoa masse, cane sugar. acid solids: 70% minimum), cocoa.

    May contain traces of other nuts and sesame seeds. Do not keep in refrigerator. keep away from heat sources.
