Spice Mountain barberry 30g
These little re berried are an essential ingrediant in Persian cooking. Sprinkle onto rice or cous cous or crush with salt and rub on to chickenm lamb or pork before grilling. They have a deliciously tart and tangy flavour. To use, soak in cold water for 10 mins then saute gently in oil until they swell. Also wonderful in tagines.
